Role: C++ Lead

Functional Area: C++, Shell Scripting

Employment Type: Contractual/ Permanent 

Location: Bangalore

Exp: 7-14yrs

1. Reading existing source code in C/C plus plus to determine current programming logic. 2. Documenting functionality, processes, requests, responses and maintaining software development records. 3. Resolve build issues during OS version and other software upgrades. 4. Resolving deployment and runtime issues in new environments. 5. Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures. 6. Support the testing team by providing clarifications and fixes as required. C plus plus senior Developer - Skills and Requirements: 1. Strong proficiency in C plus plus , with fair knowledge of the language specification (Telecom experience is preferred). 2. Proficient understanding of standard template library (STL): algorithms, containers, functions, and iterators 3. Hands on experience in migrating C & C plus plus based application from lower versions of Solaris to higher versions. 4. Must have experience on Unix platforms, should possess shell scripting skills 5. Proficiency in compiling large amounts of code with extensive understanding in writing/customizing/debugging make files. 6. Knowledge on compilers(gcc, g) and debugger (dbx). Knowledge of libraries and linking. 7. Strong working experience in ProC embedded SQL/C coding and compilation. 8. Strong proficiency and knowledge of SQL and XML. 9. Good understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. Git, CVS etc.)
