About The Position

Brillio Technologies is currently seeking a full-time UX Design Lead to conceptualize the layout and functionality contained within interactive experiences/ interfaces of websites and mobile applications. Working alongside the sales team, design team and development team, the Design Lead is responsible for conceptualizing/optimizing the usability of a website or mobile application to allow the various user roles to accomplish their objectives in a manner that results in the best possible user experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, intuitive, and possesses a keen understanding of technology as it affects user experiences.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with clients to discover project scope and gather requirements
  • Create use cases to identify user roles and user objectives
  • Conceptualize the layout of intuitive user interfaces in the form of high fidelity design comps
  • Optimize the usability of existing interfaces by assessing the existing layout of data and proposing updated layouts and functionality
  • Work directly with an off-site/on-site development team to ensure proposed functionality is feasible and adheres to the client’s budget
  • Present and justify proposed mock-up solutions internally and to clients
  • Document functional requirements of proposed interface solutions
  • Ability to facilitate/co-facilitate design workshops and document outcomes
  • Ability to present the team's work and articulate design
  • Calculate design efforts and provide estimations/people loading maps
  • Create proposals to provide strategies for design intervention in transformation stories
  • Maintain familiarity with the capabilities of various programming technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, etc.) and their impact on development efforts, user interface possibilities, data accessibility, and compatibility across multiple versions of the same platform (web browsers, mobile OS, etc.)


Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Required - Minimum 7 years of industry experience working within interactive design mediums including websites and mobile applications
  • Required - Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Industrial Design, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Required - Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Required - Must present a portfolio of industry examples illustrating step-by-step solutions to project requirements
  • Required - Must be a resourceful self-starting individual capable of creating workflows conforming to the needs of the position
  • Previous experience with Web/Interface Design is a huge plus
