  • About the Role: We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and design-savvy Associate Project Manager – Design to support the planning, coordination, and execution of creative and design projects across multiple teams. In this role, you'll serve as a key liaison between design, product, marketing, and engineering stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of design outputs. This role is perfect for someone with deep project management skills and a strong understanding of the creative process. Key Responsibilities: Own and manage end-to-end project workflows for design initiatives — from kick-off through delivery. Partner closely with designers, product managers, marketers, and developers to define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resources. Coordinate day-to-day activities, track project milestones, manage schedules, and proactively mitigate risks. Ensure clear communication, accountability, and alignment across teams to keep projects on track and within scope. Support design leads by setting up sprint plans, facilitating standups, retrospectives, and reviews. Manage task assignments, track progress using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello), and generate status reports. Maintain documentation, briefs, project trackers, and stakeholder updates. Balance multiple design projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment while adapting to shifting business needs. Identify process improvements and help implement better ways to streamline collaboration across design and cross-functional teams. Advocate for the value of design and support designers by protecting their time and enabling their focus. Required Qualifications: 7–9 years of experience in project management, with at least 3+ years specifically managing design, creative, or digital product teams. Solid understanding of the design process, including UX/UI workflows, creative reviews, and design handoffs. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including design, product, marketing, engineering, and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, Monday.com, Slack, Notion). Strong time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills — thrives in fast-moving environments. Excellent written and verbal communication — able to clearly articulate project updates, timelines, and risks. Problem-solver with a proactive mindset; anticipates roadblocks and finds solutions before they escalate. Comfortable working with ambiguity and aligning multiple stakeholders toward a common goal. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Background in working with design or creative agencies, in-house design teams, or product organizations. PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications. Understanding of design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe CC) and how they fit into a project lifecycle. Experience managing global or remote teams. A passion for design, user experience, or digital innovation.
