End-State System Design & Architecture:
Lead the solutioning and design of end-state systems for the entire customer circuit lifecycle, encompassing: ○ Service Qualification: Architecting systems and processes to accurately determine service availability and feasibility for customers.
○ Service Design: Designing solutions for the technical configuration and allocation of network resources for customer services.
○ Activation: Defining and designing automated and manual processes for the activation of customer circuits.
○ Test and Turnup: Architecting systems for comprehensive testing and successful turnup of activated services.
○ Dispatch: Designing solutions for efficient dispatch and field service management related to circuit installation and repair.
○ Service Assurance: Developing architectural frameworks for monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the ongoing quality and reliability of customer services.
Provide architectural expertise for various telecom products, including: ○ Broadband (e.g., DSL, Fiber-to-the-Home)
○ Ethernet Services (e.g., EPL, EVPL, ELAN)
○ WAVE (Wavelength Services)
○ PIP (Private IP)
○ IDS (Dedicated Internet Service)
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure architectural designs.
Evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for modernization and optimization within the service lifecycle.
Technical Leadership and Best Practices:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
Define and document architectural requirements, system specifications, interface definitions, and data models.
Conduct architectural reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure alignment with overall enterprise architecture and strategic objectives.
Research and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of telecom service delivery.
Ensure solutions are designed with scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability in mind.
