Role:Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) Javascript + Selenium
Functional Area: PPE
Employment Type: Permanent
Location: Guadalajara, Mexico (Remote)
The Opportunity:
Be responsible for development, test automation and testing as part of a scrum team (Agile). The primary responsibility will be the effective assurance of product quality through the execution of the test strategy, including, test automation, code inspections, peer review, and white-box
testing.
● +4 years experience putting in practice sound software engineering fundamentals (frontend or
backend).
● Track record of driving positive change, collaboratively implementing QE processes that have
improved quality metrics.
● Ability to see the bigger picture, identify trends and root causes rather than fixing the symptoms
● Extensive experience with white box testing, web application performance, CWV metrics, and
understanding of the inner workings of the system under test
● Experience with BDD/TDD and test automation at the unit, component and system test levels
● Experience with test automation tools (ex. Cypress, Selenium, Nightwatch, Playwright, Jest,
Mocha, Jasmine) and JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages
● Experience with API, micro service testing, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc)
