Role: DevOps Engineer
Functional Area: PPE
Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent
Location: Guadalajara Hybrid
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer!
Selected candidate will be required to:
- 4 years of strong programming and automation experience – you believe you can automate everything
- 4 years of experience in scripting languages such as Python, or Bash etc.
- 4 years of experience working with AWS services (EC2, EKS, VPC, ELB, S3, CloudFormation, etc.)
- 4 years of experience with Kubernetes. Experience in Amazon EKS is highly desired.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
To succeed, this role’s responsibilities would involve:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation templates.
- Fluent with git at the command line
- Familiarity with build & release automation tools and methodologies. Preferably with CircleCI and/or ArgoCD
- Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems within and across teams
- Experience working in an iterative-based development environment using Agile/SCRUM or Kanban
- Self-starter with the ability to lead processes and projects
