Position Description
Designing and implementing functional network infrastructure on premise and in the cloudResolving issues that tiers of support have escalatedExperience at the infrastructure level that can assist in troubleshooting as well as setup environments for applications and web services to function. Looking for someone to assist with creating/implementing/troubleshooting cloud networks/infrastructure. the "magic behind the curtain" where all the communication takes place. Able to do the cloud implementation, Cloud Infrastructure; building & connecting environments; building out the base so that the application team can do their part.PCF to AKS migration experience nice to have
Responsibilities:
Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devicesMonitor network performance and integrityResolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructureAutomate tasks and monitor their effectivenessMentor team members on technical issuesCreate, oversee, and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)Communicate with users when neededMaintain complete technical documentationSuggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
Requirements:
Industry-related experienceExtensive experience in cloud network engineering (Azure , GCP, OCI, AWS)Solid background in network administration and architectureExperience creating/implementing/troubleshooting cloud networks/infrastructureExperience setup cloud environments for applications and web services to functionExperience building and baselining infrastructure specific objects in cloud environments to build consistent cloud tenants using best practice techniques for multiple cloud providers (Azure , GCP, OCI, AWS)In-depth understanding of communication protocols and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)Familiarity with access control models and network securityExperience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds network tools)In depth understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS, JUNOS, )Sharp troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independentlyOrganizational and mentoring skillsExpert understanding of IPSEC and other types of VPNExperience with Palo AltoExperience with Fortinet and Cisco ASA/FirepowerUnderstanding of routers, switches, and firewalls.Solid troubleshooting skillsSolid Linux OS experienceStrong customer service skills and attention to detailTo know more about Brillio DI
