Agile Scaling Framework: Scrum Master Job requirements
Lead and manage agile teams in delivering high-quality products Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure all Scrum ceremonies are time-boxed and effective. Mentor team members on Agile values, principles, and Scrum best practices. Foster self-organization and accountability within the team. Proactively identify and remove blockers that are hindering the team's progress. Escalate issues when necessary to ensure the project stays on track. Act as a liaison between the Scrum team, product owners, and stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication across all team members and departments. Ensure the team’s progress is visible and transparent to all stakeholders. Collaborate with the product owner to ensure that sprint goals align with business objectives Encourage a culture of continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and process optimization. Track and report on team metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and sprint progress. Analyze metrics to provide insight into areas of improvement. Be able to do release planning and manage releases Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and best practices. Experience working with Agile project management tools like Jira, Trello Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously.
