Teradata Engineer
Location: Remote
 
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Teradata Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Teradata SQL, data engineering, and query optimization, with a strong understanding of data quality frameworks. Experience in the insurance domain is a plus. This role involves working on a backlog of plans, re-engineering existing queries, and designing validation frameworks to ensure robust data processes.

Key Responsibilities
SQL Development and Optimization
Design, develop, and optimize SQL processes using Teradata.
Analyze and re-engineer existing queries to enhance performance and address identified issues.
Collaborate with stakeholders to decipher complex SQL logic and implement solutions.
Data Engineering and Quality
Perform data analysis and develop rule-based SQLs to support business requirements.
Build and implement data validation frameworks to ensure robust quality checks.
Ensure data quality and integrity for processes, particularly around points redemption validation.
Backlog Management
Work on a backlog of plans by resolving existing data and query-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
Framework Design
Develop frameworks and logic to perform pre-validation checks before point redemptions.
Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards in all deliverables.
