Role: Provider ArchitectYears of Experience: 10+ yearsLocation: Remote As a consultant within the PPE team, you will work with our clients to define their digital strategy and execution roadmap, and design and implement differentiated digital solutions to help deliver measurable value. Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Provider Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative, scalable, and secure solutions within the healthcare provider domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native application development, Neo4j Graph DB, REST APIs, and experience with Spark and Medallion Architecture. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create solutions that drive data-driven decision-making and streamline provider workflows.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement architecture for applications within the provider domain, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Lead the development of cloud-native applications, leveraging modern tools and frameworks.Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration with internal and external systems.Utilize Neo4j Graph DB to design and optimize graph-based data models and queries for complex provider data relationships.Integrate Apache Spark into data processing pipelines to enable real-time and batch processing.Design and implement data solutions following the Medallion Architecture, ensuring robust data governance and lineage.Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical specifications.Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for development, testing, and deployment.Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in cloud computing, graph databases, and data processing.Mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.Qualifications Required:Domain Expertise:Deep understanding of the provider domain, including workflows, data models, and compliance standards.Technical Skills:Proficiency in cloud-native application development (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).Hands-on experience with Neo4j Graph DB and building graph-based solutions.Strong knowledge of REST API design and implementation.Familiarity with Apache Spark for distributed data processing.Expertise in Medallion Architecture or similar layered data architecture patterns.General Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to lead architectural discussions and make high-level design decisions.Preferred:Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architecture.Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Prior experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance).Education and ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of experience in software development or architecture roles.3+ years of experience working in the provider domain.
