Job Summary
· We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Manual QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team.
· The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications by identifying bugs and issues before product releases.
· You will work closely with the development, product, and other cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria.
· Create, execute, and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform manual functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, and exploratory testing on web, mobile, and desktop applications.
· Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
· Ensure all reported bugs are well-documented with clear reproduction steps.
· Validate fixes and perform regression testing for resolved issues.
· Work closely with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
· Ensure test coverage for all new features and changes in the application.
· Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
· Report on QA metrics like defect density, severity, and status updates during team meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 2+ years of experience in manual software testing.
· Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
· Experience with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or Bugzilla.
· Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
· Solid knowledge of web and mobile testing, including cross-browser and responsive testing.
· Ability to write and execute clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
· Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
· Good communication skills to articulate issues effectively with developers and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
· Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.
· Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
· Experience with basic scripting or automation is a plus.

Salary: 60-70 USD per-hour-wage
