Role: Senior Manager
Location: Edison NJ
Job Duties and Requirements:
· Senior Manager, Delivery needed in Edison, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
· Work with Scrum Master and the designated Product Owner (PO) for each POD to compile weekly status reports, release plans and other materials to help communicate what’s being worked on, what’s on-deck and issues and risks that the team is experiencing.
· Work with each PO to make sure Jira is being updated, features are ready for development and user stories and tasks are being updated and completed.
· Lead and manage all scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, retros etc.)
· Make sure Client development and review processes are being followed.
· Escalate and see issues through to resolution.
· Remove impediments by collaborating with stakeholders and development teams.
· Server as the primary point person who is accountable for the delivery of features and requests.
· Ensure high customer service, satisfaction and repeat business.
· Tracks customer feedback via periodic surveys and reviews.
· Directs project teams to initiate steps and strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
· Develops and manages relationships with client executives at the senior level across different lines of business.
· Engages with client senior management to understand their plans and objectives and assess ability to address these needs.
· Advises customers to meet governance, architecture process, best practice, and strategic goals by involving the relevant group.
· Creates and maintains legal documents and contracts governing the relationship.
· Advises customers in project execution using globally distributed teams.
· Supports creation of QSR (Quick Service restaurants) specific products and solutions.
· Provides input to solution development team.
· Mentor direct reports.
· Manages and monitors operational metrics.
· Meet with client executives to review projects and programs to discuss risks, assessment and migration plans as well as new project scope and budget and program level roadmap on new project releases.
· Works with accounts receivable office to ensure that the accounts receivables target is met.
· Must have a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering (any) or related field plus 2 (two) years of Project Management experience in IT.
· Two (2) years of Project Management experience must include experience in Java, Python, or Kubernetes.
· In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equiv.) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering (any) or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive experience in Project Management in IT.
· Two (2) years of the five (5) years of progressive experience must include experience with Java, Python, or Kubernetes.
· We will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
· All experience may be acquired concurrently.
