IT Engineer
Position is open for Full time only
 
Strong expertise in Windows, preferably someone who is "boots on the ground". The ideal candidate should be closely involved with warehouse operations and capable of configuring desktops and other industrial devices.

After-hours support for critical issues or maintenance windows for specific time zones may be required.
 
Key Responsibilities:
OT Device Support:
Assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting OT devices used in industrial settings. Learn to manage and secure OT endpoints within our network. Support the computing infrastructure for refrigeration systems, including basic diagnostics and maintenance under site and IT supervision. Participate in the configuration and monitoring of TCP/IP networks, and security configuration to ensure 24/hr uptime and reliability
Remote Access and Support:
Use remote access tools for troubleshooting, system updates, and user support/administration. Proficiency in providing remote assistance to global team members, and configuration standardization projects.
Security:
Firewall administration to understand and implement OT/IT security measures. Participate in training to learn about network security best practices for industrial environments and implement enhanced security where applicable. Working Knowledge of SCADA is a plus
Vendor Interaction:
Assist in coordinating with refrigeration vendors, onsite facilities engineers, and 3rd party IT during system integration projects. Document vendor interactions and system configurations for future reference.
Documentation and Learning:
Contribute to system documentation, ensuring all actions are recorded accurately. Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with technology trends in OT.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
Associate/bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science/Engineering is preferred or 5-7+ years equivalent experience in IT in lieu of a degree
Experience (preferred):
5+ yr experience in Medium-Enterprise IT. Candidates with OT experience preferred. Additional training for OT will be provided;
Experience with any remote support software (TeamViewer/Citrix/Rockwell), BMS, SaaS, web2-3 enabled platforms
Foundational knowledge in networking and OT security. Industrial computing environments, PLC, panels, Industrial paneling, HMI
Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Logistics, 3PL experience
Windows Enterprise Environments, Microsoft InTune, Active Directory, ServiceNOW

Desirable Certifications
·       IT certification CompTIA A+, IT Security+, CCNA, cybersecurity, SANS GICSP
