Associate Consulting Director — AI

Role Brief:
We are seeking a high-impact Associate Consulting Director — AI to help lead a flagship Digital & AI transformation engagement for a leading Healthcare PBM & Pharmacy client.
You will lead the consulting engagement to define the client’s AI Strategy & Roadmap and create actionable execution playbooks across business and technology domains.
Post strategy phase, you will continue to partner closely with client leaders and Brillio teams to shape, monitor, and evolve roadmap execution, ensuring that AI programs drive sustained business value.
This role offers the opportunity to deliver transformational AI impact in healthcare and to help shape Brillio’s broader consulting offerings in AI for PBM & Pharmacy clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead consulting workstreams to define 3-year AI Strategy & Roadmap aligned to client’s business priorities and digital vision.
  • Conduct deep-dive assessments of:
  • Current state of AI capabilities across PBM & Pharmacy value chain
  • AI readiness across data, platforms, and talent
  • AI/ML use cases across customer experience, clinical insights, operations, and fraud/waste/abuse prevention
  • Competitive AI maturity and market trends
  • Develop actionable execution playbooks covering:
  • Prioritized AI use cases and value levers
  • AI architecture and tooling
  • Responsible AI principles and governance
  • Talent & operating model recommendations
  • Manage Brillio consultants and collaborate with client AI, Data, Digital, and Business leaders.
  • Serve as a key consulting partner to client Data & AI leaders during execution phase.
  • Facilitate governance forums and value tracking.
  • Support roadmap iteration and scaling of successful use cases.
  • Help establish AI Center of Excellence or operating model structures.
  • Develop AI measurement frameworks to demonstrate value realization.
  • Support Brillio’s Client Success and Consulting Director in managing overall client relationship.
  • Required experience:
  • 8-12 years of experience in AI / Data & Analytics Consulting, with background at a top consulting firm or healthcare technology / analytics firm.
  • Strong expertise in AI/ML use cases across:
  • PBM & Pharmacy operations (claims processing, prior authorization, supply chain optimization)
  • Digital Member & Provider Experience
  • Clinical insights & outcomes
  • Fraud, Waste & Abuse detection
  • Revenue optimization
  • Understanding of AI and Data Platforms (ML Ops, Feature Stores, Model Management, Cloud Platforms).
  • Experience developing AI execution playbooks and driving from strategy to program implementation.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work across technology, product, and business stakeholders.
  • Preferred Attributes:
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI principles and healthcare regulatory / compliance considerations.
  • Exposure to Generative AI use cases in healthcare.
  • Experience facilitating AI governance models and cross-functional execution alignment.
  • Strong interest in improving patient and member outcomes through AI.
