  • Network Engineering & Architecture scope: 1. Network Design and Architecture • Designing network infrastructures for optimal performance, scalability, and redundancy. This includes LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking. • Topological Design: Expertise in designing network topologies (star, mesh, hybrid, etc.) and determining how devices communicate with each other. • Network Segmentation: Understanding of how to segment networks using VLANs, subnets, firewalls, and other segmentation techniques. • Redundancy and Fault Tolerance: Design networks that provide redundancy using technologies like HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, and utilizing multiple ISPs, routers, or paths for network fault tolerance. 2. Routing and Switching • In-depth knowledge of routing protocols for managing the path that network traffic takes across multiple devices. • Layer 2 and Layer 3 Switching: Configuring advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching technologies using Aruba switches and integrating with other devices on the network. • Advanced Switching Techniques: Familiarity with technologies such as MPLS, VPLS, EtherChannel, and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP). 3. Network Security • Firewall Configuration: Proficiency in designing and implementing firewalls (both hardware and software) and Palo Alto security appliances. • Palo Alto Panorama: Proficiency in Panorama, Palo Alto’s centralized management system to configure, monitor, and report on multiple Palo Alto devices. • VPN Technologies: Knowledge of IPsec, SSL VPNs, and site-to-site VPNs for secure remote access and site connectivity. • Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS): Experience with setting up systems like IDS/IPS to monitor and protect networks from malicious traffic. • Zero Trust Architecture: Implementing modern security models that assume no implicit trust, ensuring rigorous verification at every stage of access and communication. 4. Wireless Networking • Wi-Fi Design and Optimization: Strong understanding of Wi-Fi planning and design for large-scale networks using Aruba's wireless access points. This includes expertise in 802.11 standards (Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6), RF planning, and site surveys. • Wi-Fi Security: Implementing Wi-Fi security protocols like WPA3, 802.1X authentication. 5. Cloud Networking and Hybrid Solutions • Cloud Networking: Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, and how to integrate them with on-premises networks using technologies like SD-WAN, VPC Peering, and Hybrid Cloud Networks. • Cloud-Managed Networks: Proficiency with cloud-based network management tools like Meraki or Aruba Central. • Multi-Cloud Connectivity: Designing architectures to connect multiple cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure efficiently. • Experience with deploying Aryaka SD-WAN solutions, including configuring Aryaka devices, Cloud-First WAN connections, and Internet and MPLS backhauling. 6. Performance Optimization and Traffic Management • Quality of Service (QoS): Experience in applying QoS policies to prioritize critical traffic (e.g., VoIP, video streaming). • Bandwidth Management: Understanding and configuring techniques for managing bandwidth, such as traffic shaping and rate-limiting. • Latency and Jitter Management: Ensuring network latency and jitter are minimized, especially for time-sensitive applications. 7. Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting • Expertise in network monitoring tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, Logic Monitor, PRTG Network Monitor, and Nagios to track network performance, diagnose issues, and optimize the network. • Knowledge of SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) and how it can be used to gather data and manage network devices. 8. Virtualization and SDN (Software-Defined Networking) • SDN: Experience in designing and managing software-defined networks, allowing centralized control and automation of network configuration. • Network Function Virtualization (NFV): Understanding the use of virtualized network functions ins
