Training Coordinator
Job Summary The Training Coordinator for the Data Modernization Program is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of training initiatives that enable successful adoption of modern data platforms, tools, and governance practices. This role plays a critical part in ensuring employees and partners are prepared to effectively use new data systems, analytics capabilities, and processes introduced as part of the organization’s data modernization journey. The Training Coordinator works closely with data product owners, technology teams, organizational change management (OCM), and external vendors to deliver structured, high-quality learning experiences. The role focuses on logistics, content coordination, training data accuracy, and adoption tracking within a fast-paced, Agile delivery environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Training Program Execution • Support the development, coordination, and administration of training programs related to data modernization initiatives. • Assist in managing learning initiatives for new data technologies, platforms, and tools, including LMS administration and training content coordination. • Collaborate with technical SMEs to support creation and maintenance of learning materials, job aids, and reference guides. Data & System Training Enablement • Coordinate training materials focused on data quality, data governance, metadata management, analytics tools, and reporting platforms. • Support training related to enterprise data systems and tools such as SQL-based platforms, Power BI, Oracle, or similar technologies. • Ensure training content aligns with approved data standards, governance policies, and platform usage guidelines. Coordination & Logistics • Schedule, organize, and support delivery of instructor-led, virtual, and on-demand training sessions for internal teams and external partners. • Coordinate training calendars, session logistics, enrollment, and attendance tracking within Agile or program-based delivery models. • Act as a liaison between trainers, delivery teams, vendors, and learners to ensure smooth execution of training activities. Training Data, Reporting & Quality • Maintain accurate training records, attendance data, and completion metrics within the LMS and related tracking tools. • Perform quality checks on training data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. • Support reporting on training progress, adoption metrics, and learner engagement to program leadership and stakeholders. Adoption Support & Documentation • Assist in tracking user adoption and proficiency of new data tools, platforms, and processes. • Maintain training documentation, schedules, communications, and reference materials. • Support continuous improvement by collecting feedback and coordinating updates to training content and delivery approaches. ________________________________________ Required Qualifications & Skills Experience • 3–8 years of experience in training coordination, program coordination, learning operations, or Learning & Development (L&D). • Prior experience supporting IT, data, or technology-focused training programs is strongly preferred. • Experience working within Agile or large-scale transformation programs. Data & Technical Knowledge • Foundational understanding of data management concepts, including data quality, data governance, data security, and privacy. • Familiarity with analytics, reporting, or enterprise data platforms is a plus. Tools & Systems • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS). • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, tracking, reporting). • Experience with project management or data-driven tracking tools. Communication & Collaboration • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
