Senior Lead Quality Engineer
Job requirements
Experience Range: With at least 5 to 8 years of experience in quality engineering, including substantial hands-on work in Python fullstack development and microservices architecture Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust automated testing frameworks for Python fullstack applications built on microservices architecture
- Develop, maintain, and optimize regression automation suites for web and mobile platforms, achieving high test coverage and reliability
- Automate testing for iOS and Android applications, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines
- Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and enhance release quality
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to identify, document, and resolve defects across iOS, Android, and web applications
- Champion best practices for test automation, code quality, and continuous integration within cross-functional teams
- Troubleshoot and optimize test scripts and environments to improve system performance and reduce deployment time
- Configure and manage containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable testing
- Contribute to the design and validation of REST API and GraphQL endpoints, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and data integrity
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Python scripting
- Hands-on experience with React, including React Context and Redux
- Strong expertise in Django, Flask, and FastAPI frameworks
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and implementation
- CI/CD pipeline integration and automation
- Containerization with Docker
- Test automation using PyTest
- Database management with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
- Orchestration with Kubernetes
- Development and testing of REST API and GraphQL interfaces
- Mobile application test automation for iOS and Android
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced CSS/SCSS/LESS styling and optimization
- Performance testing and monitoring in distributed systems
- Security testing for microservices and APIs
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
- Certification in Software Testing or Quality Assurance, such as ISTQB or Certified Selenium Tester
- Relevant certification in Python development or cloud technologies, such as AWS Certified Developer or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
