BI Architect needed in Edison, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S., Drive requirement elicitation process and gather business requirements by having discussions with relevant stakeholders to understand their business concern.Collaborate with business stakeholders regarding analytical problem definition, schedule, scope, and project related decisions. Design and maintain data systems and databases, mine data from primary and secondary sources, and cleanse the raw data ensuring data integrity. Use data visualization tool such as Power BI, advanced features of Excel and Python data visualization libraries to develop visuals and incorporate them into a dashboard with a convincing storyline. Improve dashboard performance by optimizing data model and provide application enhancement ideas. Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy. Maintain and support existing dashboards. Be accountable for the assigned analytical track/s in conceptualization, planning, design, automation, transition, and delivery. Mentor and provide guidance to junior data analysts in the internal and client team.Must have a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering (any) or related field plus two (2) years of IT experience.Two (2) years of IT experience must include experience in SQL Server and Power BI.In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equiv.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering (any) or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive experience. Two (2) years of the five (5) years of progressive experience must include experience with SQL Server and Power BI. We will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. All experience may be acquired concurrently.
