Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled BPM Analyst / Scrum Master with expertise in requirements gathering, wireframe development, and liaising with business SMEs to elaborate on complex requirements. This role will also be responsible for creating user stories and managing artifacts throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge in Appian and ICR/OCR tools and have a strong understanding of Scrum methodologies, playing a key role in facilitating Agile processes within cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the requirements gathering process by working directly with business SMEs to understand their needs and document them effectively.Develop wireframes and prototypes to visually represent business requirements and user interfaces.Act as the Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews to ensure smooth team collaboration and project progress.Create and maintain user stories and ensure they are well-defined, understood, and prioritized by the development team.Serve as the custodian of project artifacts, including user stories, acceptance criteria, documentation, and other project-related materials.Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions, particularly leveraging Appian and ICR/OCR tools for document processing.Ensure alignment between business needs and technical execution by liaising between the business and technical teams.Maintain a strong understanding of Appian BPM capabilities, including Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and provide guidance on leveraging these tools to meet business requirements.Support testing and quality assurance efforts by ensuring that user stories are testable, and by validating that developed solutions meet the defined acceptance criteria.Continuously improve the Agile process to enhance the team’s efficiency and delivery.Provide support and training to stakeholders on BPM best practices, Appian tools, and ICR/OCR capabilities.Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a BPM Analyst or Scrum Master role, with a strong focus on requirements gathering, user story creation, and wireframe development.Solid experience working with Appian BPM and ICR/OCR tools for document processing and automation.Strong understanding JIRA and of Agile methodologies and practical experience as a Scrum Master.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business SMEs and technical teams.Proficient in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Axure, Figma, or similar).Experience in creating and managing artifacts such as user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.Strong attention to detail and ability to document complex business processes and workflows.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
