Position Summary:
The Delivery Lead / Program Manager within the Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCOE) is responsible for leading, managing, and delivering complex projects and programs within the organization. This role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of multiple projects, managing cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives, and driving the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and practices. The Program Manager will act as a key liaison between stakeholders, executive leadership, and project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications highly preferred.Experience:
Minimum of 7+ years in Program management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or delivery-focused role.Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex programs with cross-functional teams and senior leadership engagement.Experience working within a Project Management Center of Excellence or a similar PMO environmentExperience in Healthcare IndustrySkills:
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor cross-functional teams.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders.Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and their application in real-world environments.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, or equivalent) and reporting software.Experience with budget management and financial oversight for large-scale programs.Understanding of business process management and change management frameworks.Knowledge of technology, software development, or IT infrastructure management.Key Responsibilities:
Program Delivery:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, high-impact projects and programs from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, objectives, and timelines.Define, scope, and plan projects with clear deliverables, milestones, and resources, ensuring successful execution within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.Proactively manage risks and issues, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place and issues are addressed in a timely manner.Facilitate and oversee the execution of the project plan, ensuring continuous alignment with business requirements and expectations.Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across business units, senior management, and external partners to ensure clear communication and alignment on project progress and outcomes.Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and resource needs to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and appropriate escalation when needed.Program Governance & Reporting:
Implement and maintain a strong governance framework for project delivery, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and best practices.Ensure that all projects comply with internal policies, including financial management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.Lead the creation of high-level program roadmaps, dashboards, and progress reports for stakeholders and executives.Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication between project members, business units, and external vendors.Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation within the PMCOE.Provide guidance and training to project managers, encouraging professional growth and development in project management practices.Continuous Improvement & PMO Alignment:
Drive the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and frameworks, working closely with the PMCOE to ensure adoption of best practices and standards.Actively contribute to the enhancement of project management tools, processes, and templates.Provide feedback and insights to improve the overall PMO structure and capabilities.Budget & Resource Management:
Manage and track project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.Coordinate resource allocation and utilization across multiple projects, ensuring the right talent is available at the right time.Change Management:
Support change management initiatives, ensuring that the impact of new projects and program initiatives is well understood and effectively communicated.Ensure smooth adoption of new processes, tools, or systems introduced by the projects.Work Environment & Culture:
